The Daily Show: Ted Koppel Rocks!

Ted Koppel was Jon’s guest on tonight’s “The Daily Show”. In his classic dead-pan humor, he delivered one of the best lines I’ve heard in a long time:

“Before the invasion of Iraq in 2003, we used to say in Washington, “We know Sadaam has weapons of mass destruction; we still have the receipts.”"

Even better, he follows it up with this one lampooning President Bush on his upcoming trip:

“35 years ago he joined the Texas Air National Guard, to stay out of Vietnam. And now, he’s going to Vietnam to stay out of Washington.”
