Take Over YouTube, Reduce The Amount Of ‘Suck’ In The World.

My friend, fellow Twitterer, blogger, and eco-entrepreneur Shea Gunther tipped me off to the fact that his friend, Hank Green, ecogeek.org founder and chief geek, along with Hank’s brother, John, have just taken over YouTube. A post over at Read Write Web, written by my friend, also fellow Twitterer, social media consultant, blogger, and big-time Digg A-Lister, Muhammad Saleem, details “How 2 Nerdfighters Took Over YouTube.” The two brothers

“decided that they were going to go 365 days with only textless communication (which means no email, no instant messaging, no texting, but very infrequent phone calls for logistical purposes) by using their video blog, Brotherhood 2.0, and posting videos back and forth. 11 months and 18 days into their experience, they launched their ”Nerdfighter Power Project for Awesome.“”

The great part, aside from the high-quality content and production values of the videos, and the fact that these two are working together with a plan and a vision to create something “awesome,” to make the world a better place, or, as Hank put it, “reduce the amount of ’suck’ in the world,” is that right now, their videos have infiltrated much of YouTube’s Most Discussed Videos.

Watch the videos, subscribe to Brotherhood 2.0, join the Nerdfighter community, pick a charity. And be sure to read the full article, and then Digg it.
