No Free Lunch? Time Out New York Teams Up With Snapple.

Now this is smart marketing. Time Out New York is teaming up with Snapple (The official soft drink of New York) to have readers choose “The Best NYC Lunch Spots.” You can vote for your favorites in nine different categories, including burgers, salad, and snack cart, among others. The winner receives lunch for a year, and a 12-month supply of Snapple.
Another smart detail: the email blast arrived at noon today, just as I was debating what to have for lunch. Not sure why, but my favorite sandwich place, Swich, is not even mentioned! (You can vote for them as a “write-in.”) Of course, now that I’ve told you about the contest, I’ve reduced my chances of winning. Don’t tell anyone, OK?
