National Men’s Grooming Day Is Friday, August 17th.

American Crew, the “leading maker” of men’s professional grooming products, has designated Friday, August 17th as National Men’s Grooming Day. (Who knew?) David Raccuglia, the founder and CEO of American Crew, is also, according to a 2004 article in Daily Camera, a founding father of the metrosexual movement. Not sure of the need for a National Men’s Grooming Day – it probably will be lost on the ones needing it most, but the American Crew site looks good – as do the guys on it.

Raccuglia, it turns out, is an accomplished photographer. His subjects include Jack Nicholson, Adrien Brody, and The Beastie Boys.
