MSNBC = AM Radio?
Watching the ever-evolving cable news channel MSNBC is like listening to AM radio. In the past ten minutes, they’ve quoted Andy Card as saying Karl Rove lied when Rove appeared on Charlie Rose earlier this week. MSNBC says Rove claimed the White House was against the war, and Congressional Democrats pushed Bush into it. (In reality, as much as it pains me to clarify this, Rove claimed the White House was against the Congressional vote for the war, and Congressional Democrats pushed Bush into it.) Also, at the end of “Morning Joe,” Scarborough and Brezinski, et al, were joking about going to war with Canada. And mudslinging about a Robert Novak column stating Clinton has significant dirt on Obama, and showing Obama drawing a line: put up or shut up. Oh, lastly, re the Barack Obama-Mike Bloomberg diner breakfast meeting: an Obama/Bloomberg ticket. Interesting stuff to wake up to on a Friday morning…
