I like Empire Diner and enjoy their apple & walnut omellets. Try the diner on 42nd bet 9th and 10th - the old Kraft that now moved to their new digs and I can't remember their name. I like that better than Westway. But you're right, Hell's Kitchen needs a good diner. At least Brooklyn Diner has a Times Square location now - try that.

Me too. The "drive-in" aspect is intriguing. I used to try to picture it as if it were in "Happy Days," with Richie and Potsie, and waitresses on rollerskates in the parking lot.

Thanks! I'll have to try Mr. Biggs.

i love the retro style of this dinner. as i sit in traffic leaving the city via the lincoln tunnel, i've always wondered the back story of this spot... as for the best burger in hell's kitchen, i've always enjoyed mr. biggs delivery (43rd & 10th), nice big burger cooked to order with a generous portion of seasoned steak fries... yum-o
