When I was a kid, there was a no TV during the daytime rule. Batman was on at 4:30, and Dad always came home just before 5:00 PM. So, I let my friends play basketball in my driveway if they would alert me as soon as my Dad’s car came down the block. I never got an entire episode-full of POW! BAM! ZOWIE! But now, I can, along with these television masterpieces:

• The Mary Tyler Moore Show
• Lost in Space
• The Time Tunnel
• Batman
• The Green Hornet
• Mission: Impossible

All in one place: American Life TV. 1965 - 1978 was a very good year. Fire up the TiVo. Time-Warner Cable in Manhattan: channel 153.
(And no, I am not a paid spokesperson. Just a TV junkie with warm television memories.)

   
Because, what’s better than an episode of Mary Tyler Moore, cheesedogs, and some hot cocoa?
